Whoa. David Beckham is ditching the EU and going stateside. Today he signed a big contract with the MLS to join the LA Galaxy.
And by big contract I mean HUGE.
HUGE as in $250 Million.
It's the largest contract in sports history. Can you believe that?
Experiencing the World Cup fever in Europe was one of the coolest things ever. I hope bringing Becks on over will get Americans excited about our soccer league as well. The MLS is cool. I've been to several Real Salt Lake games and they are fun. Really fun. If you ever get the chance to go to a game, you should. They're pretty exciting.
Plus, soccer players are hot.
