AvaWhat?

Oh man, Avatar is good, people.

I didn't really have a desire to see such a hyped movie, much less a sci-fi movie. Sci-fi isn't really my thing. My motivation was even more diminished when Dan and I made plans to see it twice, each time getting shut out by sold out shows. We were told we must see it in 3D so we held out until last night.

And let me just say...wow.

I was not expecting to love it. But I did. I mean, it's 3 hours long. I could have easily fallen asleep. But I couldn't. I couldn't even take my eyes off the screen. Visually, it's the most amazing thing I've ever seen. The colors and textures are incredible. The story is good, a little cliche, but good. It's all kind of like Pocahontas...but in space. Seriously.

Go see it....in 3D.

I wasn't that into going to see it either until everyone I talked to said it was amazing. I want to go see it again!

I was talking with some today who mentioned they thought it was total liberal political farce about anti-war, anti-people are good and just overall sent a message that there's really no hope for the human race....um....did you get that out of it? I haven't seen it yet.

I heard today that it has gone over the billion dollar mark.

It does have some political innuendos, but nothing I'd call liberal.

You need to go see it. If there's ever a movie you need to see in the theater, this would be it.

I was the same - didn't care to see it, but did. And loved it.

I haven't seen it yet. Not sure I will. I don't do science fiction.

Please update your blog. For the love.
