Usually, I'm not a bigger dreamer (when I sleep. I'm not talking about any metaphorical "reach for the s
tars" kind of th
ing here). When I sleep, I'm asleep and I'm so asleep that I'm not hesitant to compare it to being in a coma.
However, when I do dream, it's usually the same two reoccurring dreams. One is when I'm in some way or another, back at Enterprise High School, ASB president again and having to like, plan the Homecoming rally while retaking all my classes. I never know why I am back there, but I am and I don't know anyone.
The other reoccurring dream I have is where I'm back at my old job at Hamilton's, the restaurant where I served during college. The restaurant in my dream looks nothing like it does in real life. My section gets increasingly packed as my dream goes on and I'm completely frazzled. I get so busy and panicked that I forget to bring out salads, forget to send in orders, I'm dropping plates....it's a mess.
I've done a little research on the meaning of dreams and have come to find out that both of these dreams, especially the going back to high school, is reflective of some sort of feeling of incompetence. It can also be a indicator of change. Very interesting. Dreams are so weird.
Weather in Sacramento could not be better. Don't really see or smell any effects of the fires. However, I'm told the historic Freedom Festival in Redding is cancelled. That's kind of a big deal for Redding so things must be bad up there.

What? No dreams with hot guys in them? I'm surprised! I'm sad that you're not in Utah, But good luck in Sac. Heaven knows it will be a lot hotter there like you like it. Good luck with figuring out your crazy dreams.
I don't ever have recurring dreams... I slightly wish I did. My dreams are always incredibly random.
Brianne, I always have the going back to school dream. I had it last night in fact. It's usually high school and I haven't been in weeks so I forget which classes I'm taking and It's horrifying.
