Las Vegas this weekend was a blast. Me, Michelle and Anna left around 2:30 on Friday, stopped to pick Shannon up in Provo on the way, and headed down, arriving about 10:30. My brother totally hooked us all up, puttig us up in his house, taking us to dinner and helping me win $120 at the SunCoast casino. We really had a great time. The actual Super Bowl was a bit of a bummer, seeing as how Seattle lost, but it was a good time hanging out with all my family and good friends. We went to dinner on Saturday night, ate some sushi and then headed over to SunCoast (the process of going to the strip is exhausting and totally not worth it..) Me, Chris, Jen, Jen's husband Ryan and his brother Juice, all played craps. I had no idea how to play craps but I learned pretty fast. It was so fun. We all were such posers, but it was still fun to pretend we knew what we were doing. We all played Blackjack too, which, I think, is the best game to play because you have some control over whether you win or lose. Your odds are better. So overall, I won about $120. Anna won $150 I think, playing a Wheel of Fortune Slot machine. My Mom won $200 as well. Which is funny because she is totally not a gambler. She repremands us for doing it and then here she is, sitting down at the maching, peaking over her shoulder, sneaking a quarter in the slot and cashing out her $200 ticket. Ironic. The next day we all blew our money at Sephora at the Venetian. Sephora is amazing. I could spend all day there. Not because I like make-up all that much. I mean I do, but Sephora has so much STUFF. I like looking at all their skin care products that costs my entire month's salary for a little 2 ounce vial of some French miracle serum. It's quite fascinating, really. Anyways, I like Vegas for a little weekend trip like that. I would have liked to gone up to Red Rock to hike or something or even gone out of Chris' boat and gone wakeboarding, but Mead is too cold right now. Next time, for sure.
Ok, now to the part where I COMPLETELY freak out over the Bachelor. Did anyone watch it last night????? WHAT HAPPENED??? WHERE IS SARAH???? Travis TOTALLY axed her last night and I was FLOORED. I really couldn't believe that he didn't give her a rose. It was totally unexpected and I almost started crying. I thought it was a joke for a second, like any minute Ashton was going to jump out somewhere and the whole thing was going to be some punked thing. Poor Sarah. Seriously, she was the only normal girl on that show. And it was totally ridiculous reason that she was cut. Travis said that he like her a lot and was attracted to her but that she was too young and that she needed to experience more in her life first. What??? WHAT?? Ok, how long have you known she is 23?? Like day 1? Why wait then all this time to cut her??? Whats the point? He is such a poor excuse for a man. Seriously, I am pissed right now. I don't even care who wins at this point. All three girls are crazy, it doesn't even matter anymore.Oh my gosh writing all this is just making me re-live how pissed I was last night. I need to go get some water or something.
