I saw Dooce's husband, Jon, at Best Buy yesterday. He was wearing those clogs she always complains about and looked rather disheveled.
I felt kind of odd knowing that he had no idea that the girl standing behind him in the DVD section knew some fairly intimate details of his life. I thought about saying something like, "I love your website" or "I'm a big fan or you and your wife" but I really think that would have made that odd feeling worse. Plus, I'm not sure I'd consider myself a fan of theirs. It's more of a fascination with how irrational and exaggerated her writing style is. It's kind of ridiculous sometimes. And I think Leta is kind of a brat.
Anyway.
I have a free flight on Southwest. Where should I go? I very much wish Southwest went a little further south and a lot more west so I could go to Hawaii. Too bad.
Or I'm thinking maybe finally following through on some U.S. Open plans I've been talking about for the last 5 years and heading to New York in the fall.
Maybe Serena will lose her sh*t again. Maybe I will get to witness it.

NY is a good call. Maybe take a trip to Florida and spend some time in the sun this winter? Or save it to use with Dan as part of a Honeymoon? I believe they are expanding to Mexico, although I'm not sure the free flight applies.
Yes, Dooce's writing style is over the top. But she makes SO MUCH MONEY with that writing style that I think I ought to copy it.
Dooce is strange, but for some reason I can't stop reading it. Although lots of time I skim over it now. Sometimes she's just too much.
Funny that you saw him though. We talked about it this past weekend. Does he still have his huge beard?
