Fleeing the Desert
I haven't talked to Seth in about a week. Did I mention we broke up? Well, we did. After a 2 hour conversation at 2 A.M., I told him we needed to be friends. He was really bummed, which really sucked. I half wished he would have been all, "F-you, get out of my house", but he didn't. That would have made it a lot easier for me. I'm a little surprised how sad I am about it though. But like a friend of mine said, "Break-ups are supposed to be hard." It got even harder when Seth left a rose on my door on Wednesday with a little note that said some really sweet (cheesy, but sweet) things. Why can't he be a jerk to me like every other guy I've dated? Then I could feel bitter and annoyed instead of sad and guilty, and let's be honest, I'm a lot more experienced with bitter and annoyed. I texted him a thank-you, but haven't heard from him since.
It's still hotter than Hades around here and I'm looking forward to the humid east coast weather. It's going to be great.
Things I need to do before tomorrow night:
1. Download season 3 of The Office onto my iPod
2. Download new White Stripes album onto my iPod
3. Do my laundry
4. Pack
5. Find someone to take care of Niko (I don't trust my roommate)
6. Clean downstairs bathroom
7. Go to Target
8. Get eyebrows waxed
Lots to do.
